Ulcerative Colitis Foundation of America (UCFA) is organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes as specified in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
The specific purpose of UCFA is to contribute the organization's proceeds from charitable donations and fundraising activities to support financially distressed individuals and provide scholarships to individuals affected by ulcerative colitis. We also see our mission in informing the public about the newest methods and treatment of ulcerative colitis.

Founders
The Ulcerative Colitis Foundation of America is a non-profit organization founded in 2010 by Bradley D. Bennett, Ty W. Yates and Nicole L. Dillinger. Two of the founders have fought the disease for years and have both lost their colons due to UC.
